The song traces the range of events that occur after a breakup; the initial conversation through to the endless doubts and despair you feel to the realisation that the split was in fact, for the best.
Without having to over adorn her vocals, Natalie’s unique and dreamlike sound open the song with lush harmonic layers which create an ethereal and beautiful soundscape. Later on, soaring, overlapping melodies and some serious tambourine shaking and guitar strumming encapsulate a sense of freedom from self doubt.
